Mary Caroline Beck was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada on 6 April 1906. She was the daughter of Thomas Beck and Clemence Christian. She died at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada 1990. This photo was taken circa 1920.

Thomas Beck
Thomas Beck was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 18 July 1876 the son of Edward Beck and Caroline Coolen. He died at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 1 July 1948. He married Clemence Christian at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 24 November 1903, daughter of William Christian and Isabel Coolen. They had six children.

Scott Beck
Scott Beck was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 18 December 1888 the son of Isaiah Beck and Ellen Knickle. Isaiah was originally from Lunenburg and not directly related to the Prospect Becks. Isiah died prior to 1895 which is the year that his mother married James H. Hardiman. Between the two families there were 10 children.

Marian Beck, William Christian and Elizabeth Beck
William Christian was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 19 September 1849 the son of John Christian and Elizabeth White. He is standing with his grand children Marian and Elizabeth (Bess) Beck. This photo was taken sometime in the 1920s. William Christian died at White's Lake, Nova Scotia, Canada 4 November 1936.

Thomas Beck and Clemence Christian
As mentioned above Thomas Beck was born in 1876 to Edward Beck and Caroline Coolen. He married Clemence Christian in 1903 the daughter of William Christian and Isabel Coolen. This picture shows two outside of their winter residence at White's Lake. The location of this house is located at the junction of the Prospect Road and All Hallow's Road. The Becks would "come up the bay" during the winter. This picture was taken prior to 1948.

It is believed that the woman seated on the far left is Lena Beck the wife of William Beck (s/o Edward Beck and Caroline Coolen). The others in the photo are unknown.

Harriett Beck
Harriett Beck was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada circa 29 March 1880 the daughter of Isaiah Beck and Ellen Knickle. She died at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada 30 December 1943. Harriett was a dietitian at the hospital in Halifax.

Percival Beck
Percival Beck was born at Prospect, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1902 the son of Thomas Beck and Clemence Christian. Perc, as he was known, lived with his mother Clemence Beck and died at Prospect in 1982.
