These are the sons of Joseph Doherty and Elizabeth Coppin. Bernard Doherty was born on 28 June 1902 and Joseph Doherty Jr. was born 29 June 1904 and passed away on 3 May 1930 . Contributed by Kathleen Coolen.

Elizabeth Doherty (Coppin) and Mary Saul
Elizabeth Doherty (Coppin) was the daughter of David and Elizabeth Coppin and was born in 1872. Mary Saul was the daughter of George Doherty and Ceceila Purcell (she was either born in 1883 or 1890). Contributed by Kathleen Coolen.
Joseph Doherty Jr.
This is the son of Joseph Doherty and Elizabeth Coppin. He was born on 29 June 1904 and died on 3 May 1930 . Contributed by Kathleen Coolen (niece).
May Coppin with David Owen Doherty and Elizabeth (Coppin) Doherty and Ben the Horse
May Coppin was born in 1876 and Elizabeth (Coppin) Doherty was born in 1872. They were the daughters of David Coppin and Elizabeth McGuire. David Owen Doherty was the son of Elizabeth Coppin Doherty and Joseph Doherty. The horse was called Ben. Contributed by Kathleen Coolen (d/o David Owen Doherty).

David Owen Doherty was the son of Joseph Doherty and Elizabeth Coppin, was born on 28 March 1907 and died on 3 September 1962 . Contributed by Kathleen Coolen.
Bridget Coolen and James Doherty
Bridget Coolen was the daughter of James Coolen and Rebecca Duggan. She was born 14 April 1855 , and died at the age of 83 on 30 August 1938 . She married James Doherty, son of Peter Doherty, and Mary Ann Fawson on 12 November 1888 in Prospect. James was born on 28 November 1859 and passed away 23 July 1925 . James Doherty had the nickname of "Doc". Bridget and Doc had no children. Contributed by Ellen Ryan (great-niece of Bridget Coolen).
Mary Ann Fawson
Mary Ann Fawson was the daughter of William Fawson and Mary McCarthy of Halifax. She was born about 1822. Sometime around 1842 she met and married Peter Doherty son of James Doherty and Ann Green of Chester who was living with family in Prospect. They married and had sixteen children from 1846 to 1872. Mary Ann died on 20 July 1898 ten years after the death of her husband. She is buried with him in the old cemetery in the village. Contributed by great-granddaughter Kathleen (Doherty) Coolen.
Joseph Doherty
Joseph was born on 3 November 1861 and was the son of Peter Doherty and Mary Anne Fawson. He married Elizabeth Coppin d/o David Coppin and Elizabeth McGuire on 26 November 1900 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Prospect. They had six children, with only three surviving to adulthood: Bernard, David Owen and Joseph Peter. Contributed by granddaughter Louise Christian.

David Doherty, born 28 March 1907 , was the son of Joseph Doherty and Elizabeth Coppin. Nell Doherty was the daughter of Raymond Doherty and Anastasia Coolen who was born in 1927. Contributed by Louise Christian (d/o David Doherty).
